Privacy Policy

We have written this privacy policy to explain, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), what information we collect, how we use data, and what choices you have as a visitor to this website.

By their nature, such explanations can sound technical. We have tried to describe the most important points as simply and clearly as possible.

Data storage of the agross apps

The apps Netmo Classic, Better Battery 2 and Focus one store the data they collect locally on the user’s device. No data is transmitted to agross while you use the apps. We do not collect any data about how, how often or in what way the apps are used.

  • Focus one can optionally sync your data through your personal iCloud account. We have no access to it, and Apple’s privacy terms apply. For details, see the Focus one privacy policy.
  • Netmo Classic connects to Netatmo’s servers to retrieve your weather data. You sign in directly with Netatmo, and Netatmo’s privacy terms apply.

Hosting and Cloudflare

This website is hosted by Cloudflare and delivered through its global network (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Name resolution (DNS) for our domain is also handled by Cloudflare.

When you visit this website, your requests are routed through and processed by Cloudflare’s network. This involves technical data such as your IP address, date and time, the page requested, and browser and device information. This is done to deliver the content, defend against attacks and keep the site running reliably. Processing may also take place outside the EU. Retention periods are determined by Cloudflare’s own retention practices.

We do not keep our own server log files and do not analyse visitor data. We do not use any analytics or tracking services.

Legal basis: Our legitimate interest in a secure, fast and reliable operation of this website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Data processing and third-country transfers: Cloudflare acts as a processor under a data processing agreement. Data is transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, in which Cloudflare participates, and additionally on the basis of EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

More information is available at cloudflare.com/trust-hub/gdpr and in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Contact by email

If you contact us by email (for example at support@agross.at), we process your details to handle your request and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (requests relating to a contract or pre-contractual measures) and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete correspondence once it is no longer needed to handle the request, subject to statutory retention obligations.

Our mailbox is operated by World4You Internet Services GmbH, Hafenstraße 47-51, 4020 Linz, Austria. A data processing agreement is in place with this provider. Email traffic does not run through Cloudflare; Cloudflare is only used to resolve the domain’s records (DNS).

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies that require consent. To protect the website, Cloudflare may set technically necessary cookies.

TLS encryption with https

We use https to transmit data securely over the internet. TLS (Transport Layer Security) protects the connection between your browser and Cloudflare’s network. You can recognise the encryption by the padlock symbol in your browser and by https in the web address.

Your rights

You generally have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, withdrawal of consent and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde): https://www.dsb.gv.at/
