Tags and checklists

Tags complement areas and projects across the board. You can give a task several colored tags, filter by tags and find them in search. Example tags are created on first launch.

You create, rename and delete tags via Edit Tags. You find it in the top toolbar of the main view, on the Mac also with ⇧⌘T. Tags are assigned in the task’s context menu or in the detail view. You filter by a tag through the Quick Navigator: type the tag name and choose the tag. If you want to keep rows slim, turn on “Show tags only when the task is selected” in the appearance settings.

Checklists live inside the task and are deliberately simple: a title with a checkmark. The counter shows your progress.
